Nepal’s Tara Air’s 9NAET aircraft is missing. Flying from Pokhara to Jomsom has gone missing since Sunday morning.

According to the airport authority, the aircraft took off at 9:55 am. Who was supposed to land at 10:20am, but did not get in touch even 12:30pm. The last contact was made in Lete Pass.

Pokhara Airport Chief Bikram Gautam confirmed that the aircraft was out of touch with the tower.

According to Tara Air official, Captain Prabhakar Ghimire, co-pilot Utsav Pokharel and air hostess Kismi Thapa were on board the aircraft. Among the passengers were 13 Nepalese, 4 Indian and 2 German & 3 Crew Members.

According to an air traffic controller at Jomsom Airport, they have an unconfirmed report about a loud noise in Ghasa of Jomsom.
